Melisa Brown

Innovative fashion designer and founder of “The New York Fame”, Melisa Brown was born on September 17, 1982, in St. Andrews, Jamaica, since then, Brown has come a long way from her days on the beautiful island of Jamaica to the big city of New York where she currently resides. Brown trained celebrities like Maurice Dubois, Diana Ross, and Keith David. While working for Apple, Brown met today’s top Video editors, Producer, Photographer and Designers, like Maria Snyder, and Jeremy Edwards, which ultimately led to the growing fashion empire she manages today. Because of her innovative mind and determination, Brown knows success is best measured by how far you’ve come with the talent you’ve been given.

Melisa’s idea for the “THE NY FAME” started while working at Apple. She was a stellar employee that went beyond her corporate script. At Apple, Brown had the opportunity to connect with individual artists, creative businesses and anyone who was trying to explore creativity in the fashion, Art, Music, Entertainment industries. This was the inspiration that birthed “THE NY FAME”. Brown’s innovativeness put her at the forefront of a powerhouse brand.  THE NY FAME is the foundation to the next frontier of the fashion & entertainment industry.
